MAIN OPERATIONS

• To select the contact entry press the joystick.
• To unselect the contact entry press the joystick left.
• If some contact is selected, you can scroll your contact list by pressing joystick up/down.
• If no contact is selected you can "turn over" the pages of the contact list by pressing joystick up/down.
• To look at the detailed contact list select the required contact and press the joystick.
• If you want to return to the main contact list from the detailed contact list press the joystick left.
• To send ALON Contact Guide to background press the joystick left when no contact is selected.

OPERATIONS WITH CONTACTS

• To send the opened category of contacts choose the required category and choose the Contacts>Send this category.
• To send any category or any contact/contacts choose Contacts>Send manager.
• To backup/restore/delete/see info/compress your contacts choose the menu item Edit and select the appropriate line.
• To add/edit/delete groups of contacts choose the menu item which shows selected category and choose Edit groups.

MAIN SEARCH

By choosing Contacts>Search Panel or pressing joystick right you may use advanced one-hand contact search. You may scroll the buttons by pressing the joystick up/down and choose the buttons by pressing the joystick (or if you want you may use stylus). For example, entering 5, 4, 6, 3, 2 would match any names starting with "Linda" and would probably be enough to bring up "Linda Richardsson". Most often, you need to do 2 or 3 iterations to find the necessary contact.

GLOBAL SEARCH

Global Search helps you to find the necessary contact in your database by any personal information: first and last names, company, job title, phone, note, e-mail, URL. Choose Contacts>Find, select by what information you will search the contact (in all fields or in Names and Companies) and enter the symbols.

TASK MANAGER

Optional built-in task manager helps to switch, launch and close any application on your phone while using Contact Guide. Just choose Contacts>Switch/Launch/Close task.
